Inscription Ciaruteun Ciaruteun found in the river, a hundred yards from the confluence with the River Cisadane; but in 1981 was appointed and placed in the cupola. This inscription is a relic Purnawarman, beraksara Pallava, speaking Sanskrit. It was a four-line poem, which reads:

According to Hindu mythology, Airawata is the name of Indra riding the elephant god of war and penguawa Guntur.
